Plaque of Dr. Victor Westphall's visit to Vietnam.

In 1994, Dr. Victor Westphall, accompanied by his son, Walter, and a couple friends (Vietnam Veterans), visited the area of his son's last day.

Dr. Westphall brought soil from the Memorial site in Angel Fire to bury in this area, and brought home from Con Thien, Vietnam a sampling of soil to place at the Memorial.
